Neuropsychologist Joins Hope Network Center for Autism

Grand Rapids – Hope Network announces that Dr. Mohan Krishnan has joined the Center for Autism as Neuropsychologist. Dr. Krishnan comes to the Center for Autism after completing a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Dr. Krishnan received his Master’s and Doctoral degrees from the University of Florida.

 

With a specialty in neuropsychology, Dr. Krishnan works with both kids and adults offering a broad range of psychology services.

 

“My approach takes into account challenges across the lifespan,” says Dr. Krishnan, “from transitioning to the world of education and peer social interactions in the pre-school years to maximizing cognitive health, wellness, and independence in later life. I am committed to working closely with patients, their loved ones, other healthcare providers, and the education community to help them address their cognitive concerns and find ways to meaningfully better their daily lives.”

 

At the Center for Autism in Grand Rapids, Dr. Krishnan will offer all day intensive evaluations, assessing children and adults who have neurological and neurodevelopmental problems to better understand their cognitive skills like memory, language, attention, and problem solving.

Applied Behavior Analysis for Autism Spectrum Disorders

Grand Rounds is a new series of professional lunchtime lectures covering a variety of topics relating to autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions, including ABA, Speech and Language Pathology, and supporting children and adults with autism. Lectures are free of charge and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring their lunch. Following each lecture, there will be an opportunity for questions and answers.


All lectures are from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the Hope Network Education Center, 775 36th Street SE, Grand Rapids, MI.
