Creston Ridge

Creston Ridge is a secured, community based 16- bed Specialized AFC facility designed to maximize the community adjustment of individuals who have, or may become, hospitalized for psychiatric reasons. Creston Ridge utilizes individualized treatment modalities (person centered planning, behavior support plans, psycho-educational, social groups, etc.) to assist the consumers in learning to manage symptoms and behaviors associated with their mental illness.

Consumers receive training and support in developing skills for symptom management, community re-entry, medication management, anger management, problem solving, and maintaining healthy interpersonal relationships.  To address consumer concerns about lack of employment, Creston Ridge provides a vocational program.  Consumers participating in this program are employed by Hope Network Behavioral Health Services, participate in staff meetings, and gain general workplace knowledge and skills necessary to gain further employment.The co-occurring specialist facilitates an on-going group to assist consumers in managing their mental illness and addictions.

Applied Behavior Analysis for Autism Spectrum Disorders

Grand Rounds is a new series of professional lunchtime lectures covering a variety of topics relating to autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions, including ABA, Speech and Language Pathology, and supporting children and adults with autism. Lectures are free of charge and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring their lunch. Following each lecture, there will be an opportunity for questions and answers.


All lectures are from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the Hope Network Education Center, 775 36th Street SE, Grand Rapids, MI.
