The Haven Program is a licensed Adult Foster Care home in Walker, Michigan which provides twenty-four hour staff support to persons primarily, but not limited to, 55 years or older with severe and persistent mental illness.  Residents of these homes typically require assistance with personal care routines and may have a health condition requiring long term planning.

The Haven Program provides activity based programming that involves community and facility-oriented activities. Leisure time activities vary from month to month in an attempt to meet the interests of all residents. Limited transportation is provided with residential staff escort to and from doctor's office visits, stores, outings, day program activities and other appointments concerning resident's health.

Applied Behavior Analysis for Autism Spectrum Disorders

Grand Rounds is a new series of professional lunchtime lectures covering a variety of topics relating to autism spectrum disorders and other neurodevelopmental conditions, including ABA, Speech and Language Pathology, and supporting children and adults with autism. Lectures are free of charge and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring their lunch. Following each lecture, there will be an opportunity for questions and answers.


All lectures are from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the Hope Network Education Center, 775 36th Street SE, Grand Rapids, MI.
