Residential Services

At our Residential Services, all care begins with a personalized planning meeting, where the individual, their guardians, and families can work together with our professional staff to establish goals that will enhance the individual's quality of life.

Our residents are encouraged to be active participants in community events and activities. Concert and festival attendance, or participation in work skills training programs is an important part of living in the community. Some programs offer convenient and rewarding on-site activity programs to supplement the community integration activities. All homes are located in residential communities and provide a home-like environment to promote a feeling of community living and support community involvement.

Our direct care staff is trained to meet the standards of Community Mental Health agencies, the State of Michigan licensing rules, and CARF, a professional accreditation association. Our staff is trained to be sensitive to cultural diversity and strive to honor the individuality of each resident. Each resident is valued and respected as a whole person with physical, spiritual, and emotional needs. If desired, our Church Partnership program can facilitate connections between residents and their desired house of worship.

The size of our specialized facilities ranges from 4 to 14 beds. They are staffed 24 hours a day/7 days a week and are located in residential communities across West Michigan.

We also offer additional services for individuals in crisis at Gilead Crisis Home.

Developmental Services is proud to offer the only Prader-Willi Residential Program in Michigan.

Hope Network Developmental Services recently completed Boston Home, it's newest residential home for women with developmental disabilities.  Watch the video of the Groundbreaking below.
