Physiatry/Psychiatry Services


Hope Network Rehabilitation Services provides specialized physician services that include:

Physiatry Services: A physiatrist is an expert in rehabilitative medicine for people who have experienced disabilities as a result of serious injury or illness. At Hope Network Rehabilitation Services, our physiatrists work closely with participants to strengthen and restore range of motion, physical ability, and self-sufficiency.

Neuro-Psychiatry Services: A neuro-psychiatrist is an expert in the relationship between the brain and behavioral disturbances. Psychiatrists work closely with the participant to identify and treat cognitive, behavioral, and emotional challenges that occur as a result of severe injury or illness to the brain.

Physiatry Services are available in Grand Rapids, East Lansing, Big Rapids, and Mt. Pleasant.

Psychiatry Services are available in Grand Rapids and East Lansing.

On December 11, the Michigan Commission for the Blind (MCB) presented Hope Network Rehabilitation Services their 2009 Community Partner Honor Roll Award. This Award recognizes local organizations that share in the Commission’s commitment to provide services to individuals who are blind or visually impaired.

Hope Network Rehabilitation Services is proud to announce that their Therapeutic Recreation Program has been presented “The Excellence in Therapeutic Recreation Programming Award” by the Michigan Recreation and Park Association. This award recognizes a hospital, agency, or department for its innovation, accomplishments, and consistently high standards in clinical or community settings.
