Outcome Evaluation and Management
An Outcome Evaluation and Management system is designed and implemented for each program area. The system follows the specifications and guidelines from the Hope Network manual on Outcome Evaluation. Included in the system specifications are the requirements for efficiency, effectiveness and satisfaction measures. Reports from each program area are submitted quarterly and include analysis and recommendations for improvement. Results are shared in a meaningful format to the various stakeholders. Outcome information is used to guide management decision making related to strategic planning, resource allocation, and modification of service delivery, staff training, and marketing.
The outcome evaluation and management system is readily adaptable to measure various performance indicators, including such measure as consumer satisfaction, access timeliness, consumer involvement in service planning and rate of achievement of service plan objectives. Most recently, Hope Network and Affiliates have adopted key results areas from the Consensus Set of Indicators for Behavioral Health, from the Accreditation Organization Workgroup (composed of members from ACMHA, CARF, COA, The Council, JCAHO, and NCQA), as a means to identify common areas of reporting outcomes for all Affiliates.
