Safety Program

The Safety Program reflects Hope Network and Affiliates' commitment to protect the health and safety of recipients of services.

The Safety Program includes organized Safety Committees, staff and consumer training, policies, safety plans, monthly internal inspections and comprehensive external inspections.

Safety plans that each program must have in place include disaster (emergency) response, hazard communication and exposure control.

Each area has an assigned Safety Officer. A Safety Coordinator is responsible for the overall coordination of the program.

Incident and Accident Reports go through an extensive review process and corrective actions are taken. Each incident report is entered into a database, trend reports are generated on individuals, service areas and organizationally. Trends are analyzed and improvement plans are developed.
