Who We Are

Hope Network is about helping people. As a Christian organization, we take seriously our mission to "empower people with disabilities or disadvantages to achieve their highest level of independence." It's a challenging mission, but one we wholeheartedly embrace. We believe that each person is created in God's image. This motivates us to give our consumers the opportunity to develop their dignity and live to their fullest potential.

Hope Network's vision is to provide all of these elements so we can offer seamless, comprehensive services to our consumers. Working with each individual, we provide a holistic approach that addresses their social, mental, spiritual, physical, and emotional needs.

Over 2,000 people work for Hope Network and serve people from 51 Michigan counties. Our staff dedicate themselves to helping our consumers develop self-esteem and a sense of self as they live meaningful, productive lives. We give each person the opportunity to develop and function with full human dignity. Integral to this process is working with and supporting their families. Together, we can imagine limitless possibilities for the people we serve and our communities.

We hope the information on our web site gives you a better idea of the lives we touch and what effect that providing basic human dignity has on them. Despite the vast differences in the individuals we serve and what needs we address, one element stays the same. We all have the same mission. It unites us, keeps us focused, and inspires us to do the best we can for the people we serve.
